Who we are
FlipNode ("we", "us") operates the website at flipnode.org. Contact us any time at flipnodedev@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account info: email address and display name.
- Activity: searches, saved deals, watchlist items, and stock alerts you create.
- Billing: handled by Paddle, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details.
- Basic technical data: IP address, browser type, and usage logs for security and debugging.
How we use it
To run the product — show your saved data, send notifications you opted into, process payments, improve search relevance, and protect the service from abuse.
Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share data only with service providers we need to run FlipNode:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Paddle — billing and tax compliance.
- Cloudflare — hosting and DDoS protection.
- Marketplace and stock-data providers (eBay, Yahoo Finance, Finnhub) for the public data we display.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising trackers.
Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is open. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to retain billing records.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time. Email flipnodedev@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
FlipNode is not intended for users under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we materially change this policy, we'll notify you by email or in-app before the change takes effect.
