FlipNode is operated by Theodore Shtoyk ("FlipNode", "we", "us"), available at flipnode.org. By creating an account you agree to these terms and are contracting with Theodore Shtoyk. Questions? flipnodedev@gmail.com.
1. Service
FlipNode is a research tool for resellers and hobbyist traders. We surface listings, comparable sale data, and stock-market information from third-party sources. We don't sell products and we don't execute trades.
2. No guarantee of profit
All resale price estimates, ROI scores, and stock movement signals are informational. Actual sale prices, fees, shipping costs, and market moves vary. You alone are responsible for purchase and trading decisions.
3. Account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity under your account. One account per person. Don't share credentials.
4. Payments, subscriptions and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paid plans renew monthly through Paddle until canceled. You can cancel any time from your membership page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for refund details.
5. Intellectual property
FlipNode and all of its content, software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Theodore Shtoyk and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of the service or its data.
6. Acceptable use
Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute FlipNode data. Don't use the service to break a marketplace's rules, manipulate markets, or harass anyone. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service.
7. Third-party data
Listings come from eBay and other marketplaces; stock data comes from Yahoo Finance and Finnhub. Their data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable. We do not control or guarantee third-party data.
8. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, FlipNode is not liable for any losses (including lost profit, lost trades, missed alerts, or marketplace bans) resulting from your use of the app. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
9. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account any time. We can suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Theodore Shtoyk operates FlipNode. Disputes will be resolved in those courts unless local consumer-protection law gives you the right to your own venue.
